The bag slung over his shoulder the panther shifter climbed up the stairs. In one paw he held two suitcases, long claws curled around the handles. In the other, he held his bag of books for all his classes. As he climbed, someone shown at a flashlight toward him. The light reflected off his deep brown eyes, catching a white blaze, then the light was gone. Who knows why they were looking around with a light. It was bright outside and all the windows, made it seem like there was a million lights in here.
He walked down the corridor toward a gathering room, it seemed that this is where all the boys would meet, Then he walked through and to a hall filled with doors. He walked down to one of the end ones and opened the door. He walked in and put his stuff down on the bed, then for a minute he didn't do anything, then changed back into his human form, and began to unpack his things.
He brought out many sets of clothes, many which he knew he would wear, but had packed anyway. He walked to the closet and found a few old shirts and jeans that someone must have left from years ago. He threw them out and filled the closet with his things.

The tiger had been lounging in the meeting room, his body stretched out on the couch, his laptop in his lap. He glanced up as a pather shifter walked past but paid the stranger no more mind than that. However, Songa, one of the cats that had been lounging with their master had been interested in the creature as he walked past, watching him disappear into one of the rooms with much interest. Looking back at her master momentarily, the friendly and every so curious tabby cat lept off the back of the couch swiftly, tortting steadily to the door of the panther's dorm. from there, she watched him unpack and such, the little silver tag hanging from her bright pink collar jingling softly everytime she moved her head.

He finished with his clothes and walked back over to his bed pulling up his bag of books. He grabbed all his books for each class and laid them on the bed. As he had noticed when he first walked in, the desk he requested hadn't been here. Though, he could make due with the nightstand by his bed side. He pulled out an organizer as well, and filled the organizer with book. He turned to get the other suitcase left by the door and saw the tabby cat. he smiled, his abnormal fangs showing greatly 'Hello, where did you come from?' he said, walking toward the cat.

The cat glanced up at the panther as he approached, her clean golden gaze as curious as ever. She wasn't usually the most eager of the bunch to meet strangers, but she was the most attached to other cats, shifters or otherwise. Getting softly to her feet, the silver tabby cat let out a soft mew in her own little greeting, moving to the shifter's legs and rubbing against them... as all cats did.

He seen the curiosity in the cats eyes ad smiled still. As she came up to him, he knelt down and pet her gently and looked up for a moment, thinking he herd something, but he ignored it and then stood. he looked at her, wondering whom she belonged too, because she wouldn't be happy when his dog arrived.
A loud bark came from down the corridor. He peeked his head outside to see a man struggling with the hyper boxer dog. He smiled and whistled happily to his dog. The man let the leash go, tired of fighting with the hyper dog and Leroy ran down the hall.

The cat heard the dog bark and was instinctly on edge. She wasn't afraid of dogs like most cats but some dogs were... well, they could be bothersome. In that sense, the tabby would simply stay away from them. Following the panther out the doorway, she stayed between his legs as the dog came tearing down the hallway. Where else was she gonna run?
Back in the lounge, the tiger had looked up again, realizing that his favorite kitty was missing. She was usually on the back of the couch, purring away like a little fuzzy motor but now all was quiet. His tail twitching slightly as he sat up, yellow-green gaze traveled about the room. She was nowhere in sight. It didn't really worry the shape shifter, he just liked to know where his animals were. Plus, it wasn't like Songa to run off spontaneously... Sitting up just in time to watch the dog run by, the tiger couldn't help but instinctively call for his cat.
"Songa?"
Removing the computer from his lap and moving his second cat from his legs, the tiger walked curiously down the hall toward one of the dorms...

The dog jumped into his arm and licked his face happily. he paid no attention to the cat for them moment and stayed with him, very happily.
He grabbed his dog and held him in his arms for a moment, before letting him run into the room. Then herd the voice calling 'Songa?'. He wondered if that was the cat. 'Are you looking for a cat?' he called back.

The tiger shifter continued his stroll down the hall, finally pausing about halfway down. The guy from before stood in the doorway of his dorm, a dog in his arms and Songa between his legs. Grinning a bit shyly, the tiger nodded and kneeled down.
"Um... yeah. Come here Songa..."
Happy to see her master as always, the tabby raced to him, leaping into his arm swiftly and rubbing against his striped face, purring away as always.

He watched the cat race down the hall and into her master's arms. He smiled and looked to them for a minute before seeing the boxer's head from the door. He smiled again and pet him lovingly. Then looked up to the tiger shifter. 'So, what's your name?' he asked. He leaned up against the wall and picked at his claws for a minute and looked up again. Deep brown eyes glaring at the tiger.

Feeling a bit awkward under the panther's stare, the tiger began to shift uneasily, his tail swishing back forth behind him. Songa, trying to unconciously get away from the dog, crawled onto her master's shoulders. She was a small kitty and fit quite easily on his shoulder. Reaching a striped hand up to pet her neck a little, the tiger cleared his throat before responding.
"Duka... Duka Daksha. Who are you?"
He still felt a little awkward, speaking with a total stranger but he managed. It was good to be social at least once in a while. Besides, this was the only other guy he'd seen since he got here. Might as well make friends right?
((Take your time. i'm not going anywhere. ^^))

He looked away as he shifted uneasily. Staring was sometimes just a little habit. He didn't mean to seem rude, it just happened. He pushed the dog back into the room and closed the door so Songa wouldn't have to try and get away any longer.
Dylan John.
he said, nodding. It was a little awkward to be meeting someone. He hadn't in so long. He often kept to himself, but he thought it might be good to at least know somebody.

Watching the panther shove his dog away, the tiger couldn't help but smile a bit. despite being a total cat person, he liked dogs. They were beautiful creatures and a lot of fun to play with. His thoughts were interrupted by claws in his back. Flinching visibly, the shifter yelped a bit as his cat took her time jumping off of him. One of these days, he'd have to remember to clip her nails a bit, or buy her a scratching post or something. Rubbing the back of his black t-shirt sorely, Duka extended one hand out toward his new... um... roomate, let's say.
"Nice to meet you Dylan... Is it your first time here too? At the school, I mean..."

Dylan smiled as well. he was a total dog person, but cats were OK, considering he was part cat. Dylan looked at him as he yelped. That was the only thing he didn't like about cats, their sharp claws. He seen his hand and took it, then shaking it. 'Ya, I just got here a little while ago.'
