Okay, I need your honest opinion in this one guys. A little debate with my brother about how ugly the new Dodge Charger is, I recieved a grand idea: street racing role-playing game.
Now, I haven't thought this through too much but it's definately something I'd be eager to mess with. The Fast and The Furious was one of my favorite movies and Need For Speed: Most Wanted one of my favorite games, I'm all over and about cars and trucks and such. I'd love to join a racing rp but I need other people to help make it happen. You can't roleplay with yourself, ya know...
I was thinking about having it be like a riding rp or something, where there are places to buy your car, places to customize it and so on. In the customizing places, there will be members and artists who will digitally edit a picture of a real car to your specifications and such. that way, you'll have a nice siggy for your car and your character. Then there will be places to race with the track layouts posted in the header so everyone knows where they're driving and what it looks like. Lots of maps, lots of images and plenty of links to car sites so even those who are automobile illiterate can have a good time. When you buy your car, you will get stats for it. The better the stats, the more likely you are to win. Upgrading the car will obviously increase the stats. There will be gangs and racing teams, those with the best cars and best driving being at the top of the game, like the packs in a dog rp....
Obviously, I can't decide the genre for this one, whether or not to have just normal human beings or to branch out into werewolves, demons, angels and so on. But I really like the idea and I knew Neverloved wanted to start a new rp, maybe she could help me with this one. *winkwink*
