she listened to him. she had always been a great listener and not much of a talker. she hardly had anything to say, nothing terribly tragic haunted her in life, so whenever she had nothing to say, she was a great listener. she had often helped her few friends with problems, and found solutions. she nod slightly, every now and then, saying she was listening.
I see... well, I am with you at a few places. People would always do that to me, but I never let it affect me. I always looked ahead to see a brighter side, even when there wasn't... and I was never good in tennis. I had to send hours upon hours. turning into days, weeks, months and years before I was good at it. Even still, I can't go to competitions. I'm also in band, though a lot of people don't care for 'bad geeks' I was never ashamed of it. I love to play the flute.
she said with a slight smile as she looked at him.

Listening to her when she began to speak, the cat forced a grin onto his short muzzle. She was a nice wolf, this one. She seemed to understand him, pretty much everything he said made sense to her. It was strange for him, considering he was bad at explaining things...
I envy you for that... I want so badly for people to see me, to know that I'm there that even the smallest things effect me. I don't like being the one that sits in the back of the room silently but that's what everyone assumes I am and I can't change that... No matter how hard I try...

she nod slightly, listening to him. she was glad he was talking, she loved to help people if she could. she had always loved for people to have happier lives. she smiled slightly.
Well, sometimes to get noticed, what I do, is just be myself. Don't be who people think I am. You for example. they think your the guy who sits in the back and never says a word to anyone... well, based on their oppinions... you are that guy. What you should do, is maybe in this, not be yourself, but be someone else for a day. Go into a store, and buy the weirdest colored clothes you can find and sit in a different spot, maybe for a few days, then move again. Just be different.
she said with a smile. she did that before, she had electric green clothes and wild pink hair, and wore the most awesome hats. sure she got attention, and she met people. then she calmed down and was normal, then all the people that really wanted to know her, stayed friends with her, and they had a great time together. all she had to do was be herself and forget what everyone else thought of her.

At her strange suggestion, the tiger lifted his head, tilting it to one side curiously. As far out there as that suggestion was, it was a good idea. But Duka wasn't quite sure about it. He didn't like being what he wasn't, tricking people into getting to know him. He just wanted people to get to know him for him, not trying to find out who that freak was. Still, he appreciated the insight...
That's an... interesting concept. I might have to go do that some day...
Letting his gaze drift away for the moment, he voiced a question floating about in his head.
Have you done it before?

she smiled slightly. she knew it was out there, but it might be fun. as a matter of fact, it was fun. so what, people thought she was a freak, but at least she was herself.
Yes, I've done it many times before. I thought it was pretty funny, but hey that might not be your kind of thing to do.
she said with a small laugh. she loved that kind of thing. sometimes, you did seem really weird, but that was nothing unusual for her.

Stretching a little where he lay, the big cat rolled over slowly, his paws mindlessly batting the air as he fidgeted, his gaze focused on the lycan's face.
Nah... I think I'll give it a shot. Sounds kind of fun...
Beaming the wolf a cheesy smile, or as much of one as his form would allow, the tiger lolled back and forth on his back as if he had an itch. he didn't but that was what the movement suggested. in truth, he simply did it for lack of anything else. He liked to move, to be active and doing something. Right now, he wasn't so he was making up for it...

she smiled slightly. that was cool. she'd never met a guy who would be like that, just be a little weirder then normal. she still smiled as she looked around, then watched him for a second.
Is there a tennis court around here?
she asked, as her gaze moved up and to the sky. the sun would be up in maybe an hour or two... which would be great. she could get out of here and be comfortable again. be able to walk around, and get something to eat.

Pausing in his mindless fidgetting, the tiger looked up in thought, a very contemplative pur coming up from his vocal cords. He had to remember where the courts were. This being his first year, he had only seen them once or twice...
Um... Not around here but there are some back on the campus. By the Herbavore dorms I think...
Using a paw to pat his head, mimicking the human action of scratching one's head with one figure when one was confused or thinking, he continued his thought ful purring, eventually giving up with a shrug.
We could go find them when the sun comes up.

she smiled slightly. that was cool, at least there were some, and finding them might be a little fun. she smiled again and looked around.
Sounds good.

Grinning to himself, the tiger went back to lolling back and forth on his back, his paws tucked into his chest cutely and his hind legs stretched out behind him. As he fidgetted like a month-old kitten, his greenish gaze landed upon the slowly brightening sky, particularly the fading stars. The sun rise was a mere hour or so in the future. Though usually such an observation would make the shifter sad, this night/morning, he was happy about it. He wanted to know what his friend really looked like...

she sighed softly, awaiting the soft glow of the early morning sun. She loved the waking moment when the sun peeked over the rolling hills. It was always beautiful, though not just because of that, she longed to be human again. she liked her wolf form, but then she didn't. she was so much larger then she normally was and most people were scared of Were's by all the stories, which made her want to hide herself.

Still moving about in his place lazily, the tiger yawned openly, basking in the soft glow of the stars above and warming silence between the werewolf and him back down on earth. It was a comforting silence indeed but of course, his body simply had to go ruin it by growling. More specifically, he stomach had to ruin it.
I'm hungry...

there had been the silence between them. thought it wasn't the awkward kind, they were just both waiting for the same thing... then silence ended. she giggled slightly as his stomach growled. it had been silent, then your just hear it growl. she smiled slightly and looked at him.
I can tell...

Rolling over fully until he was laying on his stomach once more, the tiger shook out his pelt briskly, letting the grasses and twigs fall from him limply. It was amazing how much junk collected in his fur in such a short amount of time. Buthe had been rolling around... Getting smoothly to his feet, the tiger stretched openly, his long tail curling over his back, all complimented by a deep yawn. With all of that finished and his body awake again, Duka took a seat once more, proceeding to mindlessly groom himself...
So what'dya say we go out for a little chow before seeking out the tennis courts... after the sunrise of course...

she watched all the junk fall out of his long orange and black striped coat as he sat up and shook slightly. wow, how much you can collect in such a short period of time. she then looked up at his comment and nod slightly.
Sure, sounds good. The sun will be up soon. As soon as it peeks over the hills, I'll be myself again.
