she looked toward him. he seemed to know as much as she did. she was a first year too.
Well, what do you want?
she asked him. she really didn't care as she wasn't as hungry as he was. not really hungry at all.

Offering his companion a curiously thoughtful glance, the tiger went back to his thoughtful sky gazing. What did he want to eat? Well, that was quite the question for one who wasn't incredibly picky about his food. Well, he was finicky for his species but even then that wasn't very finicky...
"Um... I dunno..."
getting an idea, he reached a striped hand into his pocket, jingling around the change within. Or rather, the lack there of. Dur, of course he didn't have any money on him. His pants might shift with him, but whatever might happen to be in them was not...
"Hmm... Due to my lack of cash, I'm gonna have to vote for the cafeteria. At least it's free and what food I've had there tasted pretty good..."

she herd him dig around in his pocket for any money. she herd a few coins hit against each other, but nothing more. she pulled her wallet out of her back jean pocket and looked inside. she had 10 dollars with her.
If you in the mood for something else, I have 10 bucks...
she said, looking up at him. she didn't mind paying for something.

Giving the werewolf a considering glance, the shifter waved off her offer with his free hand. He hated borrowing money from others, it made it seem like he was taking advantage, even if he wasn't. Think of him as too modest for his own good...
"Nah. I'll live with cafeteria food. Not like it's poisoness, right?"
Grinning warmly at her, he scratched the back of his head absentmindidly.

she nodded slightly and pout her wallet away. she hated borrowing as well. being in debt was the worst thing ever, because then it would build up and up and up... then before you know it, there is just way too much to pay back and your friend suddenly hates you...
Lets hope not... or I'm suing...
she said with a slight smile. though she had no loyer...

Laughing a bit at his companion's joke, the tiger nodded.
"Me too..."
His laugh stopped for a moment, replaced by a strange look of comical confusion and bewilderment...
"But how would we sue if we're dead?"

she looked up at him as he suddenly became quiet. she pondered his question for a minute. she smiled as she thought of something.
Well, you know how there are people who say they get messages from ghosts? well, we can communicate with those people, and tell them to sue this place because their food killed us.
she said. she loved ghosts and ghost stories. she was into that kind of stuff and wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't a clue what she was talking about.

She was only sort of right. Though Duka had a very similar love for ghosts and sprits and such, he didn't really believe in them so, when the werewolf brought up "people who talk to ghosts", the tiger's mind initially went blank. However, it only took him a few seconds to realize what she was talking about...
"Oh yeah. Guess we could.... But then they'd be suing them, not us..."
Staring off into space for a moment, he eventually just shrugged it off, grinning back at Elysia.
"Oh well, close enough right?"

she thought about his last comment. very right he was. but it didn't matter, they wouldn't get sick anyway, and if they did... then wow, what a coincidence. she smiled slightly at Duka.
I guess so...
she said, shrugging it off.

turning his gaze out in front of them once again, the tiger fidgeted with his hands a bit, picking at his fingernails and rubbing them together in the brisk breeze. Eventually, they settled in his pants pockets, fiddling with whatever they could find in the empty cavaties. Lint was the highlight of the search...

she continued to walk. she pulled her hair up into a neat a pony tail and smoothed it out. she usually wore her hair up. the silence started to get on her nerves, but she didn't let it show, just silently sang to one of her favorite songs. she wasn't the best singer, so she wasn't going top sing aloud.

Looking up as they emerged from the forest, the tiger paused to inhale deeply, the brisk autumn air filling his lungs. He loved the smell of oncoming winter, it was always so rich and refreshing. Letting the wind out of his chest in a calm sigh, he resumed his walking smoothly, his tail swinging back and forth in tune with his stride.
"Ah, Fall. the best time of year in my opinion..."

she smiled slightly, the sweet autumn air making her so calm, but in her opinion, winter was the best, everything being covered in the cold but comfortable pillows of sparkling white snow.
I think, winter would be my favorite... I love the snow, though it's cold.

Smiling as they neared the main building of the academy, the tiger nodded slowly. Winter was definately a good season...
"Yes, I'll have to agree with you there. Snow is the best thing to come from the sky really, but it gets too cold in the Winter. I like Autumn because it's just the right temperature most of the time, kinda chilly but only just, and I love the cooling breezes and the long nights."

she smiled slightly. Yes, autumn was very cool and perfect in temperature. Mostly all the time. the colors were great too. All the leaves changing their colors. beautiful oranges, yellows, deep reds, and few green. but she loved the whiteness of the snow. she nod slightly.
Yes, autumn is a very good time of year, and I also like spring, though it rains too much.
